The Final Confession

My newest project.

Working Title Theater: “The Final Confession(s)”
Working Title Theater: “The Final Confession(s)”

Coming soon to a bookshelf near you (or at least to the teetering pile of unread books on your nightstand): my new project, tentatively titled The Final Confession. Or possibly The Final Confessions. Plural. Singular. Who knows. Titles are hard, and grammar is a bully. Let’s not get hung up on it.

What is it? Glad you asked, imaginary reader. It’s seven stories, each one tangled up with one of the Seven Deadly Sins. Yes, those sins. The ones you were told to avoid while secretly thinking they sounded like more fun than whatever the “virtues” were offering. Pride, greed, lust, envy, gluttony, wrath, and sloth, basically humanity’s greatest hits, now in short story form.

Of course, it wouldn’t be my work without a generous serving of dark, twisted art sprinkled throughout. Think of it as a choose-your-own-nightmare book, except you don’t get to choose, and the nightmares have better illustrations. Some of it might even teeter dangerously on the risqué, because apparently demons and decadence have no chill.

Is it horror? Kind of. Is it satire? Absolutely. Is it the kind of book you’ll want to hide from judgmental relatives while proudly displaying it to your cooler friends? That’s the goal.

For now, the title is a work in progress, and the details are still simmering in the creative cauldron. But consider this your warning: something wickedly entertaining is coming, and it’s dressed up in sins, sarcasm, and lots of ink.

Stay tuned. Confession is good for the soul… or so they say.
